Nana Osae Nyampong

Nana Osae Nyampong is Genser Energy’s Chairman and an experienced entrepreneur with over 33 years of leadership across procurement and logistics, real estate, and trucking. He brings a strong track record in business development, governance, and long-term growth. He holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Ghana and is known for his disciplined, hands-on leadership approach.

Nana is widely recognized for his commitment to education and community impact. An alumnus of Adisadel College, he led the development of a STEM block at his alma mater and is part of the “Santaclausians,” an alumni group dedicated to supporting the school’s advancement.

He is passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation and ensuring that development delivers lasting impact at the community level.

Neeraj Shah

Neeraj has advised on corporate finance projects and transactions across the African continent and on numerous cross border transactions in other markets. At KPMG, he headed up the Valuations business, oversaw the India-Africa business corridor and was a member of KPMG’s global High Growth Markets team which develops opportunities in high growth, largely emerging markets.

Neeraj is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Corporate Financier with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Jonathan Oppenheimer

Jonathan is a South African businessman and philanthropist. He began his career at NM Rothschild & Sons, before moving to Anglo American and subsequently De Beers, where he held several senior management roles in Southern Africa and London for over two decades.

Jonathan founded Oppenheimer Partners in 2016, with the aim of creating an investment group that will span the primary pillars and sectors of key markets over time.

Johannes de Beer

Johannes de Beer is Vice President of Midstream at Genser Energy, a role he has held since April 2024, overseeing delivery of the Gas Conditioning Plant and Takoradi Natural Gas Liquids Export Terminal. He joined in 2024 after more than a decade with Gold Fields, where he led projects and engineering across the West Africa Region, along with prior engineering roles at Kloof and Beatrix Mine.

A Professional Mechanical Engineer with senior certifications in Ghana, he also completed executive training at the University of Warwick. Johannes is known for his focus on safety, mentoring engineers, and ensuring projects deliver lasting value to communities.

He is an avid golfer and has held a senior role organizing several West African PGAs, fostering a competitive spirit both on and off the course.

Frances Rogoz is Vice President of Project Development at Genser Energy and has been with the company since 2008, playing a foundational role in building the business alongside the CEO from its early stages into an integrated energy platform.

She is responsible for shaping the company’s expansion strategy, including the identification, structuring, and advancement of new infrastructure opportunities across local, regional, and international markets. Her work spans commercial strategy, risk forecasting, and long-term planning in complex operating environments.

Ms. Rogoz brings strong commercial expertise in power purchase agreements, client engagement, and the development of strategic partnerships that support Genser Energy’s growth.

She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Brenda Lee is Vice President of Organizational Development at Genser Energy, where she leads human capital strategy, organizational design, and talent development across the company’s operations and at the group level.

She has been with Genser Energy for over a decade and played a foundational role in building the company’s workforce, systems, and culture during a period of sustained growth. Ms. Lee spent seven years based full-time in Ghana, where she established and scaled the company’s human resources function.

Earlier in her career, she was selected as an Acumen Global Fellow and worked in India on initiatives to expand access to safe drinking water. She also served in the Peace Corps in Belize, focusing on community development and women’s economic empowerment.

Ms. Lee holds an MBA from Drexel University and a Master of Science from the School for International Training.

Vice President, Midstream

Johannes de Beer is Vice President of Midstream at Genser Energy, where he leads the delivery and operation of the company’s midstream infrastructure, including the Gas Conditioning Plant and the Takoradi Natural Gas Liquids Export Terminal, as well as the natural gas pipeline network.

He brings more than four decades of engineering and project leadership experience in the mining and energy sectors. Prior to joining Genser, he spent over 40 years with Gold Fields, where he held senior leadership roles across the West Africa Region, including Vice President of Projects and Head of Engineering.

At Genser Energy, Mr. de Beer is responsible for advancing complex infrastructure installations through final EPC execution and into operations, drawing on extensive experience delivering large-scale industrial systems.

A Professional Mechanical Engineer with senior certifications in Ghana, he has also completed executive training at the University of Warwick.

Francisco José Gómez Cedeño

Vice President, Engineering

Francisco Gómez is Vice President of Engineering at Genser Energy, where he leads engineering, design, and construction execution across the company’s integrated gas-to-power infrastructure platform.

He brings more than three decades of experience in the oil and power sectors, with deep expertise in electrical engineering, project delivery, and large-scale industrial systems. Since joining Genser Energy, he has played a central role in the development and execution of the company’s core infrastructure.

Mr. Gómez oversees all phases of engineering, from front-end design through construction and commissioning, managing multidisciplinary teams and third-party contractors to deliver complex projects.

Prior to Genser Energy, he held senior engineering roles at Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Henry Abeiku Oppong

Vice President, Operations (power)

Henry Abeiku Oppong is Vice President of Operations (Power) at Genser Energy, where he is responsible for the performance, availability, and reliability of the company’s power generation assets across Ghana, comprising over 310 MW of installed capacity.

Mr. Oppong has been with Genser for over a decade and has played a central role in building the company’s core infrastructure, leading the development of approximately 430 km of natural gas pipeline systems connecting industrial and power generation assets. He now oversees operations across five power plants and is leading a critical phase of asset optimization, including the transition from single-cycle to combined-cycle generation.

He joined Genser as a young engineer and progressed through a series of technical and leadership roles, reflecting deep institutional knowledge and a hands-on approach to infrastructure delivery.

Mr. Oppong holds an MBA in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Andrew O. Tarh

Vice President, Finance

Andrew Tarh is Vice President of Finance at Genser Energy, where he oversees financial strategy, reporting, and governance for the company’s operations in the country, supporting its regional expansion.

He brings more than two decades of international experience in finance, corporate governance, and operational leadership across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to joining Genser Energy, he served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Cerba Lancet Africa, where he led financial operations across multiple African markets.

Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at International SOS and Colgate-Palmolive, managing complex multi-country environments and strengthening financial controls and compliance frameworks.

Dr. Tarh holds a PhD in Management and Strategy from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA).

Anna Engström Klapper

Vice President, External Relations & Communications

Anna Klapper is Vice President of External Relations and Communications at Genser Energy, where she leads the company’s global positioning, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications across its operating markets.

Based in Washington, D.C., at the group level, she plays a central role in shaping Genser Energy’s external narrative and strengthening partnerships that support the company’s growth and long-term strategy.

Ms. Klapper brings global experience, having lived and worked across Europe, Africa, and the United States. Prior to Genser Energy, she held leadership roles at Brand USA and Securiport, leading international marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement across public and private sector partners.

She also leads Genser Energy’s social impact platform, including the acerola pilot in Ghana supporting sustainable livelihoods and the Industrial Training Program, which has provided hands-on technical exposure to more than 800 students.

She holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Omosuyi Fred-Omojole

Vice President, Governance & Investor Relations

Omosuyi Fred-Omojole is Vice President of Governance and Investor Relations at Genser Energy, where he leads corporate governance, investor engagement, and capital markets strategy as the company continues to scale its integrated energy platform across West Africa.

He brings extensive experience in project finance, corporate development, and infrastructure investment, with a focus on energy and emerging markets. Prior to joining Genser Energy, he served as Head of Corporate Development and General Counsel at Anergi Group, a power and infrastructure platform with renewable and thermal assets across multiple countries.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Fred-Omojole held energy, infrastructure, and project finance roles at Dentons and Linklaters, advising on complex cross-border transactions across Sub-Saharan Africa. He began his legal career at Slaughter and May and also completed a secondment with Aluko & Oyebode in Lagos.

Mr. Fred-Omojole holds an LL.M. in Corporate, Commercial and Financial Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an LL.B from the University of Buckingham.
